One year opportunity to work in a Records Management team. The MDU is the
UK’s leading medical defence organisation. We offer our members expert
guidance, personal support and robust defence in addressing medico-legal
issues, complaints and claims. We have an unparalleled track-record of helping
members overcome the challenges which threaten their livelihoods.
You will assist with a range of records management activities using a variety
of processes and systems, supporting our staff in their work by ensuring easy
access to the knowledge and information they need.
1. Working with the Records Management team on records management
activities including maintaining hardcopy files, file closure, managing
physical items, destructions, applying metadata and indexing terms as
necessary, and checking the quality of the work.

Qualifications and skills
Experience in working with teams with a heavy reliance on knowledge or
information or records management. Information or records management related
qualification an advantage.
Proven track record of quality administrative skills such as data entry, and
use of systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience of using electronic information
systems and company intranets and document imaging an advantage.
Awareness of the legislative and regulatory framework for information and
